New Home of FLAAA

Opening in Fall 2008

Forest Lake is getting a new Sports Complex, scheduled to open in Fall 2008. The Forest Lake City Council approved a plan to lease city land to FLAAA, so we can build and manage the facility in the Fenway Athletic Complex near the airport, close to Fenway Avenue and 202 Street.

The facility will become the new FLAAA headquarters, as well as home of Ranger high school hockey and the Forest Lake Hockey Association. Amenities include:

• One indoor year-round ice sheet
• A field house with a refrigerated ice sheet 5 months and turf 7 months.
• Pro shop with skate sharpening
• Snack bar
• Community meeting room
• Indoor walking/running track
• Locker rooms
• FLAAA offices
