A Legacy of Supporting Area Youth

Founded

In 1950 by Ambrose Baltes, Kenneth Houle,

Melvin Nelson, Elmer Johnson, Clem Thurnbeck, Ray Jeans and Roy Bixby.

Our Mission

Supporting and participating in the positive

development of Youth.

Our Service Area

The 13 communities included in the boundaries of the Forest Lake Area School District (ISD 831): Columbus, East Bethel, Forest Lake, Ham Lake, Hugo, Lino Lakes, Linwood, Marine, May Township, Scandia, Stacy, Wyoming and Wyoming Township.

Our Philosophy

To support all organized, approved youth activities in a positive environment. The primary support is to athletics that are operating under the umbrella of FLAAA.

The goal of FLAAA is to encourage positive learning from coaches and role models, and to develop good citizenship now and in the future for the betterment of the individual and its communities.

FLAAA also supports other youth activities, including non-athletic, humanitarian, community and school-related programs as approved by the Board of Directors.
